“Come with me where you’ll never, never have to worry about grown up things again.” Peter Pan told Wendy. For many of us, the idea of a real-world Neverland with no grown-up worries conjures extreme temptation. Yet, hidden away in corporate London, there is a place to slink away and enjoy just that. In Neverland, the only thing change you can expect is the seasonal switch from a Beach Club to the Winterland Alpine Club. This winter, take the luxury of visiting Neverland and reconnecting with festive magic.

Neverland’s Winterland is the place to visit for an aesthetic, seasonal immersion. Ideal for friends, families, couples, or work parties – the venue has the flexibility to cater to all guest groups. Easily accessible due to its Zone 2 location in Fulham, Winterland is the perfect place to unwind and socialise with a cocktail in hand.

Neverland’s Winterland has cosy alpine seating. This image shows indoor seating with two, long sofas covered in faux fur with deer cushions. A arched mirror sits on the wall at the head of the tables.

Neverland opened its doors in 2017 and the venue’s success has been accelerating ever since. The seasonal element provides visitors with the exact escape they are craving – be it a snowy, winter getaway or a summer beach holiday. In summer, guests can book a hut or deckchairs to indulge in a drink at the venue’s Thames-side ‘beach’. However, come winter, Neverland transforms to an alpine getaway, complete with chalets and igloos for themed seating. When it comes to immersive atmosphere, Neverland’s Winterland pulls out all the stops.

Instead of booking plane tickets, you can transport yourself to a dreamy winter location with Neverland’s seating options. For those who like to indulge in après skiing, the Ski Lift Bubble seats up to four guests. Creatively designed to mimic the interior of a genuine ski lift, the Ski Lift Bubble has some added luxuries, including fur-covered seats and stag emblazoned cushions.

If you have a larger group of up to eight, you may wish to consider the Forest Igloos. Guests can experience the novelty of an indoor-outdoor experience, with the igloo constructed from a clear dome for 360 degrees views of the venue’s outdoor scenery. The Forest Igloos are also perfect if you enjoy dining and drinking al fresco, yet want a fun, warm way to do so in the cold months.

Of course, the Winter Cabins also provide guests with a way to combine indoor and outdoor seating. While situated outside in the scenic Forest area, the Winter Cabins offer full heating and the privacy of self-contained seating. The Cabins all feature a dining table, so are a good option for those to dine as well as wine at Neverland. The Winter Cabins seat up to ten guests, typically attracting groups of friends or family. Alternatively, for groups of up to thirty, guests can indulge in the luxury of a private, luxury Winter Chalet – complete with fur-covered sofa seating for ultimate comfort.

When your seating is booked and the big day arrives, prepare to be greeted by a deliciously creative drinks menu. Guests can order directly from their phones with complimentary wi-fi, through attentive waiting staff, or by taking a wander to the Moose Bar to order their drinks traditionally in-person.

For skiing enthusiasts, it becomes even easier to picture yourself on a French ski resort with the selection of French wines. Sample the citrus notes of a Picpoul du Provence or perhaps those of the crisp Mirabeau Pure rose, Neverland’s expertly selected list of fines French tipples will not disappoint.

And, for those whose minds go directly to cocktails at every drink’s menu, Neverland has a luxurious list to sample. Why not try a Snow Angel, made from Tequila, mixed berries, and lime juice? Or, perhaps an Alpine Bramble, made from Haig Club Orange, blackberry, orgeat, and lime? With hot and cold, classic and new cocktails on offer, exploring the drinks menu is more than enough entertainment for the night.

Although, for the traditional amongst guests, very little says ‘winter drink’ like a Mulled Wine. Neverland has both classic and creative takes on the traditional winter drink, with a standard Mulled Wine and a Mulled Toffee Apple Cider for guests to choose between. For those who advocate the fact that ‘sharing is caring’, the Mulled Wine Flask serves up to six guests and is a sociable way to indulge in a warming drink. Of course, the menu also offers Baileys and Talisker Hot Chocolate for the friend that inevitably decides to be the odd one out.

"So, can we guarantee that “you’ll never, never have to worry about grown up things again”? For as long as you are inside Neverland’s Winterland, yes."

When it comes to dining at Neverland’s Winterland, the message remains clear: festive indulgence is mandatory. The venue has a variety of main, sides, sharing plates, and small snacks – including themed dishes like the Alpine Cheese Fondue and Pigs in Blankets. However, Neverland specialises in its pizzas.

You can keep it classic with a Margherita, served decoratively topped with basil leaves and a drizzling of basil oil. Alternatively, the Please Me Pollo has chicken slices, sundried tomatoes, rocket, and a generous shaving of parmesan to finish. For vegetarians, the Float Your Goat features a delicious combination of goat’s cheese, caramelised onion chutney, rocket, and a sprinkle of pine kernels. Neverland’s pizza menu is diverse and tempting, providing the perfect encouragement for guests to treat themselves to a hearty comfort dish.

So, can we guarantee that “you’ll never, never have to worry about grown up things again”? For as long as you are inside Neverland’s Winterland, yes. The venue provides a winter and culinary escape from the city life surrounding it, with attentive service to give you the chance to completely unwind. For an alpine experience of London, it does not get more luxurious.
