Amongst the winding wooden corridors, a unique selection of boutique bedrooms and suits can be found. Looking East to the ocean, the morning sun wakes the rooms of Kanan with its warmth which can be enjoyed from a private suite patio or from viewpoints and seats hidden within the hotel’s tangled structure. The outdoor restaurant is set on the beach and offers fresh Mexican cuisine throughout the day. From eggs made to your taste and freshly prepared fruit bowls, to Mexican omelettes and traditional chilaquiles. Chefs at Caracol pride themselves in using only the best ingredients to create healthy, balanced dishes. The lunch menu is also inspired by Mexican classics, offering a selection of salads, tacos and one of the country’s most highly renowned dishes; ceviche. Made using locally sourced fish, this beautifully fresh dish is marinated with lime, coriander, garlic and served with avocado. For any fish lovers, this is something that simply cannot be rivalled. The hotel’s second restaurant offers guests a highly unique and unforgettable dining experience. Aptly named Sunset Dinner, the restaurant is woven through the canopy of the hotel.

Each evening, guests are invited to dine amongst the roof of the trees, surrounded by nothing but the stunning landscape, the wildlife and the deep orange sunset lighting up the darkening sky. Each candlelit table is set upon its own private nest structure for an exclusive and romantic setting.
