Bridgehampton art affair is a highly anticipated weekend in the Hampton’s array of events. Located on the reputable lawn of the Bridgehampton Museum reflects the importance and popularity of the esteemed affair. Additionally, being viewed by everyone driving through the Hamptons, issuing maximum exposure and accessibility. The event will be swarmed with highly qualified, experienced 2D and 3D artists and craftspeople. In specific, approximately 200 exhibitors are chosen by a jury, all of whom have created original, handcrafted, authentic work; resulting in a super engaging and aesthetically pleasing line-up, which attendees can come and revel in free of charge.

Featured artists spotlight:

World-renowned artist and Hamptons resident Flo Kemp specializes in soft ground etchings that have a “painterly” effect. The etchings are a form of intaglio printing – a process where a drawing is first done on a zinc plate and then immersed in an acid bath until the acid cuts or etches a line. The variations in tone are achieved by lengthening the periods of immersion in the acid bath. Kemp is a multi-award-winning artist whose work has been featured by the NY Department of State, the Embassy Gallery of Taipei and numerous magazines. She is a member of the Association of Women Artists and the Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club in Manhattan.

A talented artist from a young age, working in shades of blue Brianna brings her subjects to vivid life through oils on wrapped canvas. She has exhibited work in galleries in Manhattan and in East Hampton, New York. Brianna’s work has been frequently seen in magazines such as House & Garden and British Vogue.

Smadar Livne, an award-winning Israeli born artist, creates unique and exciting works at her studio in Owings Mills, Maryland. Educated at Haifa University in Israel, Smadar has degrees in fine art, literature, and architecture. Portraying scenes from her life and learning is what gives Smadar’s work an edge. The work contains short stories, poems and philosophical observations in the bright, bold colors that express the artist’s own joy.

The affair is a Howard Alan Event that allows you to extend your aesthetic and cultural horizons, infamous for its visual diversity and boldness. The artwork will be showcased to a community of fellow artists and art enthusiasts in the upscale town of Bridgehampton, primarily combining different visions into a cohesive, aesthetic experience. Attendees are invited to roam the outdoor event and will lay eyes on the majestic paintings, idyllic enamel sculptures, spectacular clay pieces, and various other enticing mediums. Diana Ahrens for example, will be showing a new one-of-a-kind glass-on-metal wall sculpture. Ahrens is one of the few artists worldwide that is proficient in producing extreme vitreous enamel sculpture, highlighting the event’s unmissable, creative, and inspiring atmosphere, an enthusiat’s heaven.

Whilst entry is free, non-perishable food items are welcome to support the local food bank, attendees will feel a noticeable sense of accomplishment and will no doubt leave a palpable mark on their community in doing so.
