Relax at Canyon Ranch

Canyon Ranch  is one of the premier spas in the United States and their Vegas location, right off the Strip, is the perfect place to unwind from your travels. The spa itself is 134,000 square feet and offers more than 100 spa treatments, so when they say they have something for everyone, they mean it. The approach at Canyon Ranch is quite different to many health spas that you’ll find in the US. They focus on a holistic approach, hand-picking elements of Western and Eastern medicine to create a totally rejuvenating experience. A half day here is a wonderful thing, but if you only have time for a massage, then it’s still well worth going. The building itself is stunning, and the experiential rooms rival some of the finest in Europe.

Lunch Like a Lord

Although there are plenty of ways to save  money on a Vegas trip, there are plenty more ways to splash it, and one of our favorites is treating yourself to a buffet at Caesar’s Palace. Whilst buffets might seem like a budget option, the Bacchanal buffet at Caesar’s is certainly not. It’s generally accepted to be the very best in Vegas. The reason for this is the quantity, quality, and showmanship that goes into the buffet here. Offering nine open kitchens where you can order and watch your food cooked fresh to order, as well as stunning views of the pool, this is a buffet experience like no other. As well as exceptional quality food, the dining hall has undergone a recent renovation which has retained all the original grandeur but made modern updates that have brought the decor right up to date. There are brand-new chef specials every day, but some of the favorites include wood-fired roman style pizza, delectable dim sum (that travels around on steaming carts, just as it should), charred barbecued oysters, and plenty more besides. Lunchtime tables get 90 minutes to feast on everything you can imagine, so arrive hungry and prepare to be blown away.

Stay at Circa Resort

The Bellagio, The Wynn, The Venetian, they’ve all earned their stripes as some of Vegas’ most flashy resorts, but the Circa Resort is a relative newcomer that’s making waves. Opened in 2019, it was the first brand-new casino to be built on Fremont Street in more than forty years. Whilst many developers would have been keen to create something as futuristic as possible, the team behind Circa instead opted to blend the 70s aesthetic with super modern technology. The result is a resort that slots in perfectly to the old-school Vegas vibe, but has all the mod-cons that anybody could dream of. Team this with the fact that the whole resort is 21+ and you end up with a terribly grown-up and super luxurious place to stay for your vacation. The rooms have a groovy aesthetic with bright accents, classic furniture, and even bunk beds if that’s your thing. The casino element of this complex is smaller than some of its predecessors, with the focus being placed squarely on sports. It boasts the largest sportsbook in the whole world, with room for one thousand people inside. The pool complex is also staggering, with swim-up bars, six distinct areas and enormous screens that play all the biggest games.
