The highlight of visiting Bled is exploring its aqua blue glacial lake. Mountains, woodland, and undeveloped nature surround the lake.

In the center of the lake is Bled island. The island is the church of Our Lady of the Lake is the most recognisable symbol. The church has a long and varied history. Amidst the greenery, you can explore interesting island buildings,  such as the bell tower, the monastery, and some other mysterious and legendary buildings.
