In Germany, fox describes someone who seeks travel deals which Nathalie lovingly uses to reference her business partner and husband Patrick. The voyage part of the brand name references their travels together and thus, their captivating brand was born.

The Road to Becoming a Travel Influencer

Nathalie’s path to becoming a traveler influencer began years ago with meeting her husband Patrick while they were university students. After they met, they discovered a shared interest in traveling which they turned into a hobby through Patrick’s skills at finding travel deals. With hard work and determination, they saved enough money in 2014 to go on their first trip together to Barcelona. After the Barcelona trip, Nathalie and Patrick planned more trips which led Nathalie to create her travel brand in 2016. Her intentions were to place the fond memories she had collected with her husband into one place to share with friends, family, and the world. Her decision to create VoyageFox allowed Nathalie to turn their part-time hobby into a full-time career.

A misconception that many travel influencers face within their career is that it’s easy because they get to travel as if they are always on a new vacation. However, as Nathalie shared, this is hardly the case. Being a travel influencer and content creator for Nathalie and Patrick begins as soon as they arrive at a new travel destination by getting up before the sunrises to capture the perfect picture. Along with getting up early to avoid large crowds that could interfere with their photos, Nathalie spends on average eight hours editing just one photo or reel to post for her brand. The long hours of hard work is evident in her content, as each picture flawlessly showcases the landscape of their location. As for her Instagram reels, Nathalie picks songs that mimic the mood behind each videos to create a story for her followers.

The content created by Nathalie and her husband goes beyond the stunning photography and videography displayed within their brand’s Instagram feed and travel blog. It speaks of a fundamental purpose to inspire Nathalie’s followers and tell them a story. The future for Nathalie’s brand is a bright one with plans of expanding the essence of VoyageFox. Nathalie’s first goal is to focus on her travel blog and make it independent as its own brand. The blog currently is connected to her Instagram and is divided into sections for destinations, lifestyle, hotels, and presets. Another big goal and dream for Nathalie and her husband are to start a Youtube channel. They would love to create vlogs to showcase more content from their travels for their followers. With the dedication the couple has to their brand, these goals are sure to be a success soon.
