When it comes to cuisine, the world has its eyes on Italy. The country is home to a variety of fine dining options, each boasting their own array of savory dishes and impressive service. However, there is one restaurant that stands out from all the rest. Lido 84 is a fine dining staple for anybody wishing to immerse themselves in the true taste of Italy.

Lido 84 is in Northern Italy, tucked away in the small town of Gardone Riviera. The restaurant sits right upon the edge of Lake Garda. In fact, this lake is home to clean waters, and the surrounding soil is extremely fertile. Because of these features, Lido 84’s menu consists of Italian cuisine created with the freshest produce. As a result, the Lido 84 fine dining menu varies with the seasons to accommodate the changing land and produce.

The restaurant was founded in 2014 by brothers Giancarlo and Riccardo Camanini. After only 6 months of operation, Lido 84 earned its first Michelin star. Prior to its founding, the building opened in 1984 and originally boasted a retro open-air swimming pool—often referred to as a lido. Riccardo Camanini trained in both England and France, before returning to Italy in the late 1990s. Today, Lido 84 has earned worldwide recognition and praise, including a spot on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list—sitting at No. 15.

One stand out feature Lido 84 offers is the opportunity for guests to interact with the chefs. "Even with all of the grand, generous meals, guests will still gravitate towards these sweet selections. "

Back out at sea, the roasted fish of the day, fried perch with red mullet soup, or grilled John Dory and vine snails make up the seafood menu. Traditional meat options including deer sirloin or braised mallard are also served. No matter one’s dining preferences, guests can be assured all their dishes are plated with locally sourced produce.

But perhaps the most expansive portion of the menu are the dessert options. Caramelized fried pears, almond soufflè, or cold polenta orange cake kick off the selections. And of course, sorbet and fiordilatte ice cream are also offered. Even with all of the grand, generous meals, guests will still gravitate towards these sweet selections. Afterall, there is always room for dessert.

Lido 84 offers tranquil views, fresh Italian cuisine, and divine hospitality. From the moment guests are greeted, to the moment they take the last bite of dessert, they will emerge on an unforgettable fine dining journey. This fine dining experience is truly unforgettable.
